Anyone can save a hundred links. A collection becomes valuable when someone else can open it and immediately find the one they need.
Decide who the list is for
A list for designers, a list for students, and a list for bored people on a Sunday will contain very different things. Write the audience at the top of the page and let it decide what stays.
Write one honest sentence per link
A bare URL forces visitors to click blindly. One sentence that says what the site does and why it is worth a visit turns a pile of links into a guide.
Prune on a schedule
Websites move, change owners, and disappear. Set a monthly reminder to check every entry, remove anything broken or no longer special, and note the date of the last review.
Group by intent, not by format
Visitors arrive wanting to learn, make, play, or fix something. Grouping links by what people want to do is easier to browse than grouping them by whether they are apps, blogs, or tools.
