Visitors open an about page to answer a simple question: who made this, and should I trust it? Good about pages answer that quickly.
Lead with what the site does
Before telling your life story, explain what the site offers in one or two sentences. A visitor who understands the purpose is more interested in the people behind it.
Show the human side
Mention why you started the project, what you care about, and what keeps you working on it. A photo, a signature, or a small anecdote makes the page memorable.
Give people a next step
End with a way to get in touch, follow updates, or explore the best parts of the site. An about page that leads nowhere is a missed opportunity.
