Why does my iframe show a blank page?
The site being embedded is usually sending X-Frame-Options or a Content-Security-Policy that forbids framing. That is set by the site you are embedding, not by your page, so the fix has to happen on their side.
Does the tester change anything on the target site?
No. It only requests the URL the way your browser would when embedding it.
